A year after Katarina Rodriguez gave birth (read here) to her and her partner Nino Barbers's panganay Quino, the beauty queen-actress is pregnant again with their second child.
"Oops!...I Did It Again," wrote Miss World Philippines 2018 in the caption of a series of Instagram posts bearing her baby news. The posts feature snaps from her maternity shoot-cum-pregnancy announcement, which is inspired by Britney Spears's music videos.
Based on the rest of Katarina's short caption, Baby Barbers #2 is coming in January 2023. Meaning she's entering the finals stage of her pregnancy. But she seems to not know yet the gender of her baby.
"Baby boy or baby girl?" she asked in another post. "Either way I'm so excited for #BabyBarbers2."
In one of her past vlog posts, Katarina revealed the changes in her body that really surprised her as a first timer then. She also recalled mistaking her pregnancy symptoms for COVID-19 because, in the beginning, she experienced either a loss of sense of taste or change of taste.
She also remembered craving for foods that she didn't like before like pasta, pizza, and french fries. She said that according to her ob-gyn, pregnant women tend to "crave for foods that contain nutrients that your body needs."
Aside from physical changes, Katarina went point by point about the changes in her demeanor that she observed like being "lazy" and being not in the mood to fix herself.
