If your child is a fan of PAW Patrol, here’s some great news for you: A movie based on the hit children’s series is slated for release next year!
According to the show’s official website, PAW Patrol follows a pack of pups named Marshall, Chase, Everest, Rocky, Rubble, Skye, Tracker, and Zuma who are rescue dogs-in-training. Each pup is inspired by real-life jobs like firefighter and police officer, and whenever anyone in their community of Adventure Bay needs help, they are always ready to provide their assistance. It was recently renewed for an eighth season, says Deadline.
The show broke the news on its official Instagram page over the weekend, writing, “From the small screen to the BIG screen, the moment you have been waiting for (and asking for) is finally here!”
Deadline reports that the film, called PAW Patrol: The Movie, is to be directed by Cal Brunker and is planned to premiere in August 2021.
