Tom Rodriguez Shares Glimpse of New Family, 'A Quiet Kind of Joy'

Actor Tom Rodriguez shared photos of his partner and their son Korben on social media on June 5. Only Tom's face is shown among the four images taken by Bundle of Joy Studio. His partner's identity was intentionally kept private, while their child appears in the photos without showing the face.

In the caption, Tom wrote, "Some treasures in life are too sacred to put on full display. This isn't about hiding… it's about holding."

He added, "Holding close what grounds me. What restores me. What reminds me of who I am beyond the lights, the noise, and the roles I play."

Tom described his family as his sanctuary and peace, saying, "In a world that often demands a performance, they are where I'm most real."

Tom was previously married to actress Carla Abellana and divorced in 2022 after seven years of being together.

In a 2022 interview with Ogie Diaz, Tom admitted that the divorce took a toll on his mental health, saying, "Marami akong nalampasan na akala ko hindi ko kaya. Na akala ko kamatayan ko, literal."

He also acknowledged his shortcomings, "I have my mistakes. Siguro hindi lang 'yung mga binibintang sa 'kin per se. But I have things that I have to be accountable for. May mga mali ako na kinailangan kong pagbayaran at pinagbayaran ko."

Last year, Tom revealed that he is already a dad to a baby boy. In an interview with Philippine Entertainment Portal (PEP.ph), Tom said, "He's my constant source of inspiration, and he makes me so happy. I've never experienced happiness at this level. Akala ko, hindi posible. Akala ko, na-experience ko noon, kasiyahan dati, but… wow!"

In the same interview, Tom said he's focused on his current path and learned from his experiences, "Siyempre things are bound to repeat themselves kung hindi tayo matututo sa bagay na yun. Pero para sa akin, life goes on and happy ako sa mga dumadating and thankful ako kay Lord talaga. Makapag-umpisa ka na talaga ulit."
