Yasmien Kurdi Claims Bullying Incident Involving Daughter Ayesha

Yasmien Kurdi recently opened up about a bullying incident involving her 12-year-old daughter, Ayesha Zara, revealing that classmates had “ganged up” on her.

The actress detailed on social media how Ayesha was cornered by seven to nine classmates, blocking her from leaving the classroom and preventing her from having recess. According to Yasmien, this happened because Ayesha couldn’t join their Christmas party discussions while she was on a family trip abroad.

“Surrounded by seven to nine students, Ayesha was blocked from leaving the classroom and was denied food and recess. In other words, she was ganged up on,” Yasmien wrote. She also stressed that they took a vacation to help Ayesha recover from anxiety caused by classmates who allegedly harassed and filmed her without consent.

The bullying didn’t stop there. Yasmien then revealed that the same group of bullies created an online group “Ayesha Hate Club,” which worsened her daughter’s anxiety and paranoia.

“Ayesha is just a kid; she recently turned 12, and she has been enduring this type of bullying since Grade 2. Alarmingly, this has led to the creation of an online ‘AYESHA HATE CLUB’ targeting her,” Yasmien lamented.

Both incidents are part of a pattern of harassment that Yasmien said Ayesha has been enduring since Grade 2. This recent episode, however, has left the actress deeply worried about her daughter’s well-being. What made it even harder was that Ayesha didn’t tell her about it; according to Yasmien, she only found out through an email from the school.

The actress further expressed her frustration with some of the bullies’ parents involved, saying they twisted the story, claiming it was just a regular meeting, and even told her to “back off.”

Yasmien ended her post with a call for action, questioning whether the school involved will take steps to address the bullying. She wrote, “I know that bullies are everywhere. The question is, will the school do something about this?”

Like many moms, Yasmien couldn't help but blame herself for her child's pain. In a separate Instagram post, she apologized to Ayesha for having to endure such pain, writing, “I’m so sorry, Ayesha. You have to go through all of this because I am your mom. But I will always be here for you. I will protect you with all my life. You are beautiful inside and out.”

Days later, Yasmien’s husband, Rey Soldevilla Jr., shared a heartfelt moment on Instagram Stories—a video of Yasmien in tears, accompanied by the caption: “Iba talaga magmahal ang isang ina. Ramdam niya ang sakit na dulot sa kanyang anak.”

Yasmien reposted the video on her IG Story, thanking everyone who showed their support, saying, “Salamat sa lahat ng nag-reach out,” and adding, “Kilala ko na ngayon sino ang mga totoo sa 'min at yung mga backstabbers.”

Daddy Rey also posted an encouraging message, writing, “Cheer up, Ayesha! I love you always and forever!”
