Just two weeks after Aubrey Miles and Troy Montero happily reported that their daughter Rocket Miller could now sit through an entire toothbrushing session (read here), they shared another milestone unlocked by their youngest child, who has autism.

The celebrity couple made a joint announcement in their respective Instagram accounts two days ahead of their little one's birthday, which falls on December 14, 2022. They posted a video of the birthday girl's advance celebration.

"Happy Birthday to our dearest Rocket," they wrote in the caption. "Do you guys know, her first full sentence is 'Happy Birthday to you.' Coming from a primarily non-verbal child, we definitely gotta celebrate her birthday! This year we decided to celebrate her 4th birthday at home."

Troy and Aubrey went on explaining, "For parents who have a child with ASD (Autism syndrome disorder) know the challenges in throwing a party for their child, especially with lots of people. At her age we’re still trying to figure out what she can tolerate and her vibe with loud music and lots of people.

"This party is already big for her. She even got scared when lighting the Birthday candle. My fault because I got one of those flower candles with music. Taking a Birthday photo was a challenge. Out of maybe 60 shots none of them show that she’s looking but we’re all doing our best."

They then pointed out, "We’re practicing and learning so much from her. It’s humbling and patience is infinite. We love you Rocket."

Four days earlier, Troy shared a video post of Rocket while in a session with her occupational therapist (OT). The actor said in the caption that he was having "overflowing happy tears" the first time he heard his daughter say her first full sentence.

He explained, "Rocket’s OT teacher shared this video with me today during our session summary and oh my gosh, I almost cried on the spot (I waited till I got to the car LOL) then I sent this to Rocket’s mommy and it totally made her day!"

Troy added, "Tears of happiness, hearing four words coming from our non-verbal little girl, ugh. She can say letters and a few select words but until today nothing put together like this.

"We’ve probably watched this video 30-40 times already and for sure we’ll hit 100 by tomorrow. She’ll be turning 4 next week and hopefully she’ll sing along as we wish her a Happy Birthday."

And that was what Rocked did on her birthday. It was a happy one, indeed.
