'Strike Anywhere!' Padede Moms Laud Angelica Panganiban For Dedication To Breastfeed Bean

In the Philippines, there's still a lot of work to be done to normalize breastfeeding and give nursing mothers safe spaces to express their milk and feed their babies, especially in public places like malls and parks. 

That's why padede moms like Angelica Panganiban get creative in finding ways to breastfeed. Recently, the actress and mom of one shared how she and her fiance Gregg Homan was able to breastfeed Bean in a park in Taiwan.

"Strike anywhere," Angge wrote in her caption. She explained, "Malapit na kami mag away ni [G]regg kakapilit niya sa akin na pwede ko upuan yung stroller para makapag-padede na ko. [Di] kasi ako makapaniwala, but yes, kinaya kami ng bebe."

In the comment section, her followers testified to how breastfeeding is indeed low-maintenance, yet has big benefits for both the mom and child.

One user said, "Yes breastfeeding is very convenient strike everywhere talaga, no more feeding bottles to wash and carry. No panis smell. Good job, Mommy."

Another one said, "Super healthy ng milk mo, kaya naman super healthy baby mo."  

One mom could relate to Angge's dilemma, "Same here, minsan pa nga sa mall hanap lang ng mauupuan pra magpadede. Wala nang hiya-hiya kahit kanino basta magpadede lang."
