Alfred Vargas, and his wife, Yasmine Espiritu Vargas, are expecting their fourth child.
The actor and politician shared how he's been supporting Yasmine. He said she has been dealing with a "very sensitive" pregnancy.
"I treat her like a queen, like a princess. Kasi everything she likes, I try my best to get it, lalo na pag naglilihi siya," the councilor of Quezon City District 5 told Smart Parenting during the GMA Gala 2023 in July.
Alfred revealed his wife has been suffering from hyperemesis gravidarum. It is the medical term for severe nausea and vomiting during pregnancy. He said Yasmine experienced this in her third pregnancy, but what it makes it more difficult is she is also suffering from generalized anxiety disorder or GAD. "Suddenly, nagkaka-panic attack siya without reason," he explained. "And it's so hard."
Alfred and Yasmine have two daughters, Alexandra Milan and Aryanna Cassandra, and 4-year-old son Alfredo Cristiano IV. He said work and family are his priorities at the moment.
