Kristine Hermosa-Sotto has given birth to her sixth child, a boy named Isaiah Timothy.
On September 4, the actress’ husband, actor Oyo Sotto, posted a photo of their six children on his Instagram account. In the photo, their daughter Ondrea is seen cradling the newborn baby with a blue baby blanket draped over her shoulder.
In the caption, Oyo revealed the new baby's name: “Testimony of God’s faithfulness… You deserve all praise and glory Lord Jesus Christ! Isaiah Timothy, 9.3.24”

Isaiah is a book from the Old Testament–he is one of the most well-known prophets in the Bible, having predicted the coming of the Messiah who would redeem His people from their sins. Timothy, on the other hand, is a book in the New Testament, he was an early Christian evangelist and the first Christian bishop of Ephesus.
“He would bless us with children… like lots of them”
Kristine announced her pregnancy last February when she posted an ultrasound image and a snapshot of Oyo in her Instagram. In the caption, she said, “I have never doubted God’s power and faithfulness in my life. I may at times feel discouraged but I always have a strong sense of security that only God gives–I know He’s got our backs all the time.”
She candidly admitted at the time, “To be honest, I was hopeful but never really expected He would bless us with children… like… lots of them and another one on the way.”
“Funny as it may seem, but I still get those butterflies every time I see double lines on the PT, kahit pa na ang dami na nila, parang laging 1st time… Iba’t ibang level ng overwhelming emotions each stage of every pregnancy. Ibang level din when you can already see and hear the heartbeat,” Kristine added.
“One thing’s for certain, we really cannot limit God’s power… Even how impossible it may seem–God’s plans will always come into completion whether we like it or not. Akala ko noon, last na si Isaac… Ngayon, hindi ko na talaga alam kay God.”
Kristine and Oyo got married in January 2011 and have since welcomed six children into their family–Kiel, Ondrea Bliss, Kaleb Hanns, Marvic Valentin, Vittorio Isaac, and now, Isaiah Timothy.
