Filipino host and TV personality Robi Domingo and his wife, Maiqui Pineda, have officially welcomed their first child, sharing the news through a heartfelt Instagram post.
In a post shared on June 1, the couple announced the arrival of their baby boy. The announcement featured a heartwarming video of the new family of three, showing Maiqui lovingly cradling their newborn, accompanied by a brief caption expressing their gratitude and joy.
In their post, Robi and Maiqui wrote:
“Our newest housemate 💙🏠”
The post quickly garnered an outpouring of congratulations from fellow celebrities and personalities, including Bianca Gonzalez, Kim Chiu, Gary Valenciano, Alexa Ilacad, Luis Manzano, Maricel Laxa, and Melai Cantiveros-Francisco.
Maiqui Pineda’s Journey Through Pregnancy and Recovery
Robi and Maiqui also shared glimpses of an intimate baby shower held on April 19, 2026, celebrating the upcoming arrival of their first child. The gathering was attended by close family and friends, along with a few celebrity guests, with Maiqui posting moments from the celebration on social media.
The celebration came as a meaningful milestone in their journey to parenthood, just months after they announced their pregnancy in January 2026.
The couple first shared the news on their accounts during their second wedding anniversary, writing:
“Two years married… and now our greatest blessing is on the way. Happy 2nd anniversary! We’re ready to give you all our love.”
The arrival of their new baby feels especially meaningful, as Maiqui was previously diagnosed with dermatomyositis, a rare autoimmune disease that leads to muscle weakness, inflammation, and skin complications.
In late 2024, she shared that she is now in clinical remission, with symptoms reduced to a barely detectable level, reflecting a major improvement in her condition.
Congratulations Robi and Maiqui!
