She might not say it out loud thanks to mom guilt, but a bit of time away from her role as momma is much-needed. Book her a room at a hotel, and allow her to invite a friend of her choosing. Throw in the budget for room service and use of the hotel spa if you can. But the cherry on top this cake is: Don’t call her while she’s out, and don’t make her “prepare the family” before she leaves. Take care of the family’s meals, the kids’ needs, and yours. 5. Her own tablet
