“It’s a boy, again!”
Kryz Uy gleefully exclaims during the gender reveal she and husband Slater Young shared on Instagram.
Eldest son, Scottie playfully responds, “a girl!” at the start of the video when asked to guess the new baby’s gender. Loved ones are then seen preparing the gender reveal booth.
In the full vlog, Kryz also shares that she feels that the baby is a girl, stating, “I’m wearing pink because I just feel it’s gonna be a girl. It’s the first time ever that I have a little feeling of what it’s gonna be.
“I actually don’t know if it’s because of the symptoms I have. It’s a little different from the past pregnancies that I had in the sense that this is harder. Or is it because of all the people telling me na I feel like it’s a girl, I feel like it’s a girl.”
Kryz also reveals that Slater thinks the baby is going to be a girl and that Scottie wants it to be a girl. This is the reason why the whole Skyfam is wearing pink, as Sevi wants to wear what his kuya is wearing.
The gender reveal was held at Slater’s parents’ place, with Kryz’s 34th birthday dinner happening after, and was organized by David and Kryz’s sister, Jack who also planned their first and second gender reveals, respectively.
The gender reveal
In the actual reveal, Kryz and Slater can then be seen holding their kids, Scottie and Sevi, while standing on the booth, with all their friends and loved ones counted down from 10.
As the countdown reaches 1, the couple pulls down their pink and blue ribbons and blue balloons and confetti rain down on them.
Kryz posted the clip on her Instagram with the caption, ‘Road to #skyfam basketball team lets go [laughing emoji].”
At the end of the video, Scottie can be seen asking his dad, “Dad, where’s the baby?”
Slater explains that the baby is still in mommy’s tummy and asks Scottie how he feels that the baby is a boy.
Scottie was quiet for a moment and says that he wanted it to be a girl. Kryz then comforts him and reassures him, saying Scottie can play and share his toys with his new brother.
Kryz says, “We’re gonna love him and take care of him together, okay? You’re gonna be the best ahia, you and lobster!”
Kryz and Slater have two boys, four-year-old Scottie and two-year-old Sevi. They announced their new pregnancy last December.
