Love Is In The Air At LRT-1! Check Out Their Valentine's Day-Inspired Decor This Month

Commuters who take the LRT-1 every day have an exciting treat to look forward to throughout the next month: To mark the season of love, the Light Rail Manila Corporation (LRMC) has launched Valentine’s Day-inspired interiors in three LRT-1 trains as part of its annual “Love Train” celebration!

This year, the theme of the event is “Love is in the Train.” The coaches were decorated to showcase love and relationships in three different stages: “Sweet first date” for the first, “sweet shabby chic” for the second, and “rustic wedding” for the third.

Aside from themed decorations, the trains also feature cute features like romantic quotes printed on the windows, interactive games, wallpapers inspired by sweet treats like marshmallows, donuts, and ice cream, and more.

Launched on Wednesday, February 12, 2020, the display will run until March.

“We hope that through this Valentine’s month display, LRMC can make our passengers’ day brighter and happier this season,” said Juan Alfonso, the president and CEO of the LRMC.

The interiors of the train are adorned with treats like ice cream, candy cane, donuts, and marshmallows, as well as lots of pastel colors that make you think of love.

Keep yourself entertained during those long rides by trying out the interactive games, like tic-tac-toe and the Don’t Buzz My Heart! Challenge.

Love is truly in the air with the romantic quotes printed on the windows of the trains, like “To have and to hold,” “You had me at hello,” and “Will you be my forever?”
