Since Troy Montero (real name Cody Miller) and Aubrey Miles's youngest child and only daughter Rocket Miller was diagnosed with autism in 2022, the celebrity couple have been sharing the little girl's progress with the help of therapy in the hope of inspiring other parents.

Examples: Rocket, for the first time, sat through an entire tooth brushing session, which her parents consider as a "major breakthrough" as brushing teeth had been a challenge for her. She also said her first full sentence, "Happy birthday to you," just in time for her fourth birthday on December 14, and she's inching her way out of the non-verbal category.

Recently, Troy shared a video of how Rocket is enjoying her Speech, Occupational, and Sensory Therapy class so much. He said in the caption, "No homework but it’s always good to practice what we learned at home."

The actor also shared a video of her daughter learning body parts. He explained how in the caption, "Rocket is trying to mimic words, which is really great! What’s even more important, she’s being shown how the word is used with actions. Learning the word and using it in context."

He added with much joy and pride: "Just hearing a voice from a non-verbal child is amazing! We’ve watched her say ‘hi’ a 100 times already."

Troy happily reported that aside from one-on-one therapy sessions, Rocket has been given playgroup classes, and the little girl is "adjusting quite nicely" with new teachers and new classmates. A class has four pupils, including Rocket.

Troy also recently shared a video of Rocket's first visit to a McDonald’s store. He said of the experience: "Rocket is on the Autism Spectrum, so seeing her enjoy things like McDo french fries and her drink (yes, she’s drinking water) inside a McDonald’s and not at home where she is most comforable puts a huge smile on my face..

He added, "Rocket is currently still considered non-verbal even though she can say a handful of words. Oh, she’s making awesome progress through her therapy and we celebrate every victory no matter how big or small.

"Rocket can still have ‘moments’ when things can be challenging for her. She can shout or burst into tears at any given time. As parents, we keep one eye on our kids, and the other on whatever else we are doing, but with her, it’s really on another level. So for us to be able to sit together, here inside and for her to feel safe, and laugh and smile is a huge accomplishment. It feels wonderful!"

Indeed, Troy is devoted to Rocket. He tried to encapsulate all his feelings in an appreciation post: "To my daughter, never forget that I love you. I hope you believe in yourself as much as I believe in you. When life turns you down, I'll always have your back.  I can't promise to be here for the rest of your life, but what I can promise is I'll love you for the rest of my life."
