'Order Mo Ako Ng Baby Brother Online' And Other Real But Out Of This World Requests From Kids

One of the good things (among many others) about being a parent is the joy brought to us by our kids. The moment we find out we're pregnant, the first time we hear their heartbeat, the moment they are born, and essentially, every day that we see them grow up. Each moment makes us smile, makes our heart flutter with that special kind of kilig and happiness. 

But wait, there’s more! Wait until your kids are old enough to converse with you—the laughter and fun is on a different level!

Just like what Jo Ann asked more than 95,000 parents in the Smart Parenting Village, “Ano ang pinaka-weird na hiningi ng anak ninyo sa inyong mag-asawa?”

She shared their funny experience, “Sa amin po kasi violet na pusa. Take note, totoong pusa po ang hinihingi niya. Saan kaya kami makakahanap ng violet na pusa neto?”

Other parents are quick to share their own experiences, all the weird, cute, and funny requests made by their kids:

"Order mo ako ng baby brother online, please!"

Among the many comments shared by parents in the thread, there is one special request that is the most popular among kids—baby sister or brother. But what’s funny is how kids ask their parents. Joy Bongala-Imperial shared, “Kapatid na bibilhin daw ng Daddy sa market or sa Shopee.” We wish it was that simple, too!

And we know for certain these kids grew up in the era of online shopping, “Mag-order daw kami sa Lazada ng baby boy,” Jennifer Besmonte shared. Desserie Azana also added, “Buy daw kami sa Shopee ng baby boy.  Kaya excited siya 'pag may parcel na nadating akala niya 'yun na inorder na baby boy.”

Other requests come with special conditions, “Baby sister daw.  I’m pregnant now, and I asked her "What if baby brother?" she replied, "Papalit na lang natin sa doctor",” Justine Mae Mulat Ragasa said. 

Ma Nica’s also shared, “Gusto raw nya ng kapatid, pero siya pa rin raw yung bunso.”

And this one we don’t know how to fulfill, “Nung 8 years old panganay ko, nag-request ng kakambal,” Kristine Caballero Aplal said. 

This is not a baby brother or sister, but still a request for a sibling, “Kapatid na mas matanda or ka-edad niya, around 9 years old siya nun,” shared by Madelaine Villanueva-Clemente. 

"I want my own convenience store"

Kids love snacks that’s why most of the time, they like going to convenience stores and groceries. It’s really fun to see all the snacks and drinks, even some candies and sweets.

Maybe that’s why Jennifer Maribao’s child asked for her own convenience store, “Yung panganay ko gusto ng sarili niyang Alfamart, so we don't have to walk far daw (malapit lang dito samin pero sa kanya malayo) and because it has so many snacks.”

Same, kid. Same! Plus: It is inconvenient to walk to a convenience store every day, right?

“Stop the moon”

Elle Abihay shared, “My son 3 years old: Stop the moon mommy to come out!!! Every time sisilip sa window bago mag-6PM yan, lagi sisigaw niya! Akala ko kung bakit, ayaw lang pala niya ng gabi kasi tulugan time.”

We don’t know what’s with toddlers and sleeping, but they don't seem to like each other, LOL!

"Dinosaur na buhay"

Some kids are drawn to having their own pets, and it actually has some benefits for them. But sometimes, the pets they asked for aren’t the usual pets we know. 

Janet Alejandrino’s child asked for a pet dinosaur, just like Glaiza Adan’s child, “Dinosaur na buhay.. jusko, saan kami huhuli nun. Hahaha.”

“Pink dog,” was Karen Anne Rodriguez’s child’s request. “Isang box na kitten, as in nakalagay sa box,” Maine Jerusalem added to the thread.

Other requests come with specific details, “Asong naglalaro ng Roblox,” from Wyn Garcia. “Gawing Pikachu 'yung Persian Cat namin at mag-alaga ng ahas,” Cess Uy shared. 

Vengilee Aurora Grande-Adorable shared her daughter’s very specific request, “Sabi ng two-year-old daughter ko manghuli kami ng sad na mosquito daw.. Paano ko kaya malalaman na yung mosquito na nahuli namin eh sad.”

And the last pet request, “Scorpion,” from Ysa Cartagena’s 6 year old. They don’t like exotic animals but her parents think it’s an influence of watching National Geographic.

"A house for P100"

For the kids’ innocent minds, everything is possible, even things that are quite expensive and a little bit unattainable.

Kristina Marjorie Cruz shared, “Bumili ng bahay worth 100 pesos.  Eto yung time na wala pa kaming sariling bahay. Sabi ko, lagi siya mag-pray na magka-bahay na kami. Sabi niya, ‘Ma, may 100 pesos ako sa alkansya ayun ang ipambili natin.’ Hahhaha  now po may sarili na kaming house ndi pa fully finished”. 

And this one, we wish too, “Palagyan ng aircon ang labas ng bahay. Para malamig daw sa kalsada,” Lours Oca Tianes shared. 

'Pumunta sa Jupiter.  Mercury lang kaya namin puntahan!' —Chelsea Chua 

Espe Gravillo Rique II also added, “Eroplano Mi, bili daw kami try lang daw niya.  Minsan natatawa ako sa anak ko. Nung nakaraan naman, bili ko daw ng barko o kaya kotse yung totoo, try lang daw niya.”

Mommee Marithe shared her son’s request, who is a car enthusiast, “Mc Laren car color black. Alam niya kung saan bibilhin at ang amount, 21 million!!! My son is a car enthusiast since he was 2, 8 years old na siya ngayon. He knows the brand, type, year model and car parts. Tomica toy cars lang afford namin.” That’s definitely a dream car!

Another request was share by Chelsea Chua, “Pumunta sa Jupiter.  Mercury lang kaya namin puntahan. Hahaha.”

The last request was not really grand, but quite impossible, “Samin naman si bunso, punta daw kami sa pinapanood niya. Cartoons e pano kaya yun?,” Kristyl V. Rodriguez shared.
