We know Gummy Carlos Eduardo got the best dad in Mikki Eduardo, a businessman who married actress Bettinna Carlos-Eduardo in 2020.
From proposing to Gummy to be his daughter, Mikki now set another dad standard, when he took his daughter to the Taylor Swift concert in Singapore!
Bettinna Carlos-Eduardo shared a photo of her eldest daughter, Gummy, holding up a poster that reads, “Taylor, it’s my birthday today! [March 7] I’m 13 now [heart emoji.]”
The other photos in the carousel include Gummy and her dad, smiling with the stadium behind them, and two selfies of Gummy. Gummy had a bejeweled heart face paint and several bracelets–must-haves for Swiftie concert joiners. Bettinna rounds up her post with a smiling photo of her second daughter, one-year-old Amina enjoying a fried chicken and a plate of spaghetti with a Happy Birthday standee.
Bettinna wrote, “What makes the best birthday even better? Having the best daddy! [smiling face with three hearts emoji]. Enjoy anak!
“At ikaw naman Lovey galingan mo suming-along ha at huwag ka magkakamali ng kakantahin baka ka kuyugin riyan! [sweat smile emoji],” Bettinna added.
It certainly looked like it was a dad and daughter trip, and Bettinna and her toddler were left behind in the Philippines.
“Ok naman kami ni Amina, eating all of Sissy’s favorites today! [three heart emojis],” Bettinna said in closing.
Happy birthday, Gummy!
In the comment section, netizens took the time to greet Gummy a happy birthday, while also pointing out the posts’ heartwarming feels.
One comment reads, “I pray for a family like yours [heart emoji]. So happy for you, Ms. Bettinna. You deserve all the love [fire, raised hands, and heart emojis]”
Another one highlighted how much Gummy has grown since her baking videos with her mom, saying, “So pure… Happiest birthday, Gummy! It seemed like years ago lang, nag-ba-bake pa kayo ni mommy mo [heart emoji].”
While another praised Mikki as a dad, “Happy birthday, Gummy! Nakaka-proud naman ang daddy, grabeng mega green flag holder yan!”
Gummy and Mikki
In 2022, Gummy legally became an Eduardo through adoption. In an Instagram post, Bettinna explained that “Mikki had to adopt Gummy” because “marriage does not make her automatically our legitimate child.”
“And we had to go through the court not just for her surname-sa wakas hindi na ‘N/A’ ang middle initial/name niya. KUMPLETO NA ANG PANGALAN NG PANGANAY KO,” she added.
“But also to legitimize her status. Hindi na siya illegitimate (sakit nito sa dibdib sabihin but it WAS the truth).”
Bettinna raised Gummy as a solo parent until she met and married Mikki in December 2020. The family welcomed baby Amina also in 2022.
