Moms and dads who were 'Batang 90s' will love the first episode of actress and host Camille Prats' new YouTube channel segment, #CamCookWithMe, where she guested no other than her long-time friend Angelica Panganiban

The former child stars of 'Sarah Ang Munting Prinsesa' got together for the first time on screen, after decades, "Major catch up and a trip down memory lane as we recall some of the most memorable things we did together growing up," Camille shared on Instagram.

In the cooking show-themed vlog, Camille and Angelica were preparing potato bites - an ode to the age-old meme that their previous roles 'Sarah' and 'Becky' are famous for - nagbabalat ng patatas!

From one mom to another

Camille took the chance to ask the soon-to-be mom about her pregnancy. Angelica revealed how she found out that she was pregnant while in a shoot.

"Nasa work ako nung malaman ko. So biglang let go ng lahat, pinauwi po ako. Napalitan ako syempre [sa role]."

She narrated, "Pasimula palang kami, lock-in, in-RT PCR. Ending, ligwak kaming apat, uwian kami. Sorry, buntis ako!"

She said, she and her partner Gregg Homan have been trying to get pregnant for a year. Walang warning! May mga gusto pa kong gawin!"

Handling pregnancy hormones

She also confessed that there are days when pregnancy gets hard to the point that she gets overwhelmed with emotions.

"Talagang nakakabaliw siya. May mga nights or days na umiiyak nalang ako. Minsan masaya yung iyak, minsan, talagang "Ginagawa ko nalang lahat, bakit ang hirap?" she said.

She shared what she does to overcome, "Ineembrace ko nalang. Alam ko namang lilipas din siya. Hinahayaan ko yung emotions ko na mag-come and go, but I don't serve them tea. Wag mong patambayin, mommy, wag kayong mag-inuman, 'wag ganun."

She is grateful that Gregg has been a very supportive partner, especially during these days when she breaks down.

Dealing with anxiety

Camille also asked Angelica how ready she is for the arrival of her baby girl, aside from the nursery. She shared that what really helps calm her down was meditation.

Nakaka-less baliw talaga," she said.

"The more I worry, alam ko na mas magiging loving parent ako dahil nag-aalala ako."

Protecting her peace

Angelica shared the best part of moving from Manila to Subic, "Yung peace of mind, hindi ko mabibili yun kahit saan.

Postpartum struggles

Camille shared that as a first-time mom, she struggled with sleepless nights. Angelica said she believes she's ready for it because all her life she is used to having only 2 hours of sleep.

Camille, who is raising four kids with her husband VJ Yambao, had this to say, "Sis, iba ang motherhood. Kasi, buong araw ka nang pagod eh, so yung puyat, iindahin mo talaga."

"Tapos syempre like kunwari nagpapadede ka, lahat yun kailangan ibigay.

Amid all her warnings to the first-time mom, she concludes that motherhood is not easy, "Pero masaya!"
