Preparing for your next baby
If you and your husband have also decided to have another baby (and not because people around you are pressuring you to do so), here are some factors you need to consider.
1. Timing
The World Health Organization (WHO) recommends that women trying to conceive to wait for two years after giving birth. This gives less risks for the baby and mom, especially if the mom is around 30-40 years old.
A 2018 study found that women who got pregnant in their 30s and 40s should wait at least a year before conceiving again.

2. Readiness
A study says it takes at least four month for a first-time mom to master her mom skills. These include understanding your baby's cries and attending to your baby's needs like changing diapers and using baby gears.
If you are mentally ready to take care of another baby, and you have the support new moms need, then you're good to go.

From pre-natal check-ups to hospital bills to new baby clothes and vaccines, make sure that you have enough savings before you try to conceive.
This will save you from stress and worry and just focus on yourself and your baby.
