Angelica Panganiban And Fiance Gregg Homan Take Baby Amila On Her First Sunset Cruise

New mom Angelica Panganiban seems to be having the time of her life taking care of their daughter Amila Sabine who was born in September. She often takes to Instagram to share bits and pieces of their life as new parents. And on their YouTube channel which now has 495,000 subscribers, The Homans, the engaged couple also gives a peek into their family life.

Angelica recently shared a carousel of photos showing their family of three enjoying the sunset on a yacht. “Our lil captain enjoying her first sunset on yapak” she captioned the photos.

Her photos show their daughter safely buckled in a car seat while onboard. Baby Amila is quite literally a “baby on board”.

But as the Washington Post reports on May 19, 2020, children can store memories even as babies. “Children start remembering nonverbally from early in infancy,” says Rachel Barr, a psychology professor and the director of the Georgetown Early Learning Project.

“Over the first two years of their life, their memories last for longer and they are more complex and more flexible. That is, as babies learn more about the world, they can integrate that knowledge with new information and expand what they know.”

Record what you can in the way you’re comfortable with, whether in photos, videos, or even journaling. That’s the beauty of living in this new media age! You don’t have to share it online. But if you want to store it online, you can opt to create a private account that’s just for your immediate family to enjoy.

For babies and children one-year-old and younger, involving their different senses is a great way to help them learn. A sunset trip on a yacht is a prime example. It involves sight, smell, sound, and touch. 

But building memories with your baby doesn’t have to be a big and grand, reading a book aloud, enjoying the sunset wherever you can, or a walk together with mom and dad is already building memories.
