LOOK: Baby Dylan Is Her Dad Dennis Trillo's Look-A-Like!

In the sweetest way, Dennis Trillo and Jennylyn Mercado finally revealed the face of their six-month-old baby, Dylan Jayde Ho.

The Kapuso actor first posted their photos on Instagram on November 2. Celebrities and their followers cannot help but notice that Dylan is his look-a-like.

On his post, one user said, "Sir Ibarra, ang ganda po ng baby niyo," referring to his role as Crisostomo Ibarra in the new GMA-7 TV series, Maria Clara At Ibarra.

Another user meanwhile said, "Yung smile ni baby, Dennis na Dennis."

In the official Facebook fan page of Jennylyn, their fans have spoken that Dylan is a lil Dennis.

She posted another photo of their baby, "Good morning from cute baby Dylan!  sino kamukha mga bessie?"

Study: Babies who look like their fathers are healthier

Interestingly, A recent study found that infants who look like their fathers at birth will become healthier!

According to the Fragile Family and Child Wellbeing study of Solomon W. Polachek and Marlon R. Tracey published in 2018, infants who look like their fathers at birth are healthier one year later. This is primarily because the father-child resemblance induces the father to spend more time and engage with his child.

"An extra day (per month) of time-investment by a typical visiting father enhances child health by just over 10 percent of a standard deviation," they said.

While the study doesn't prove that when a child doesn't look like their dad, they would spend less time with them, it's good to normalize the involvement of fathers in parenting. After all, it takes both parents, and not just the mother, to take care of the baby.

What will your baby look like in the future?

According to an article by First Cry, there is no formula on who your baby will take after. "Your baby inherits genes from not just your partner or you but your entire family tree. If your child looks more like you than your partner, it means that your genes were predominantly inherited by the child and combined in a similar way that it did with you."
