Cong TV's First 'Pamana' To Baby Kidlat Is Worth P288K

Team Payaman's Lincoln Velasquez, popularly known as Cong TV, is so looking forward to the birth of his son with partner Viy Cortez.

They've named their baby, Kidlat, and this early Cong TV has bought a Martin & Co. guitar worth around PHP288,000 for his unico hijo.

According to the brand's official website, the guitar is modeled after Eric Clapton’s guitar of choice for his iconic MTV Unplugged performance in 1992.

Cong TV revealed in a vlog dated May 26, 2022, "Kaya ko ito bibilhin kasi ito yung bagay na gusto kong ipamana kay Kidlat."

The content creator explained he wanted to start Kidlat young on learning how to play the instrument as he did when his own father bought one for him.

Cong TV recalled in his vlog, "Kasi naalala ko, nung bata ako, meron akong bagay na minana ko sa tatay ko. Isang bagay lang siya na laging nandoon lang siya sa bahay, which is gitara.

"And yun yung reason ba’t ako natutong magkainteres sa gitara kasi merong gitara lang na nag-e-exist sa bahay, yung kahit di naman nagagamit."

His dream for Baby Kidlat

Asked by Team Payaman member Carding about his aspiration for Baby Kidlat, Cong TV replied in jest, "Matugtog niya lang yung ‘Happy Birthday’ (song) nang maayos, masaya na ako!’"

Then he turned serious, "Mahirap na pangunahan sila sa bagay na iyan. Basta lumaking maayos at hindi nagbibisyo."

Toward the end of the video, Cong TV left a message to his son, telling him the value of the guitar was not its price, but it is an instrument for building memories.

He said, "So Kidlat kung napapanood mo ito, ito ang istorya kung paano ko nakuha ang isang bagay na mamanahin mo mula sa iyong papa/daddy/itay/ama.

"Di ko alam kung anong itatawag niya sa akin. Maaring kapitbahay pa rin hanggang ngayon.

"Pero isa lang sigurado, bago mapunta sa iyo iyan, ang gitara na iyan ay napuno na namin ng mga memories kasama ang mga tito mo, mommy mo, at marami pang taong iba."

Cong TV ended his messaged jokingly, "And yun, sana kung napapanood mo ito ngayon, ingatan mo at wag mong dadalhin sa school. Haha! Labyu!”

Viy and Cong TV, announced that they were expecting their first child via a YouTube vlog dated December 2, 2021.

Cong TV and Viy have been a couple since 2015. They celebrated their six years together as a couple in June 2021.

Tips on giving 'pamana' to your child
