First-born kids inevitably get jealous when a new baby arrives, as attested by many moms and dads (such as this couple). Solenn Heussaff also noted how her and her husband Nico Bolzico's panganay Tili became extra lambing while she was still pregnant with their second child, so she made efforts to prepare the little girl to be an ate.
Alyanna Martinez, who gave birth to her and her husband Roy Macam's second child on March 10, 2023, shared some powerful photos showing how she's preparing their panganay Adalynn Riley to an ate to Aryanna Rumi.
For starters, Alyanna had not only Roy, along with her doula and aide, by her side but also Adalynn while giving water birth. Five years ago, she had her first water birth to her first child. Alyanna is the eldest daughter of actor Albert Martinez and his late wife Liezl who tried showbiz when she was a child but opted to work as a fashion stylist until now that they're based in the United States.
Next, Alyanna let Adalynn cut Baby Aryanna's cord after a two-hour delayed cord clamping.
Then, Alyanna had Adalynn on the same bed while she was giving first latch to Baby Aryanna. (Read the basic breastfeeding positions here.) The 5-year-old, on the hand, was bottle feeding her doll with the same earnestness and devotion.
Then, Alyanna had Adalynn taking a bath in the bathtub while she was giving Baby Aryanna's first bath in the same space.
