When Alyanna Martinez delivered her and her husband Roy Macam's first child via natural water birth in 2018 at a birthing facility in Los Angeles, California, the U.S-based fashion stylist said she'd "definitely do it all over again."
True to her word, Alyanna once again had water birth to deliver their second child on March 10, 2023. This time, though, she gave birth at their home, also in Los Angeles. She was beside Roy and their panganay Adalynn Riley, now 5 years old, as they welcomed another daughter they've named Aryanna Rumi.
Alyanna, the eldest child of actor Albert Martinez and his late wife Liezl who had a brief stint in showbiz as a child, made the birth announcement in a series of Instagram posts. She shared several dramatic black-and-white photos apparently taken just a few moments after giving birth.
Alyanna recalled in the caption of one of her posts: "Born a week ago today at this exact same time via a home water birth that lasted just a whole 2 hours from start to finish till she was in my arms w/ first water birth baby @adalynnrileymacam right by my side the entire time."
In another post, Alyanna shared a few more details, such as her baby was born at exactly 8:25 p.m., weighed 9 lbs, 3o oz, and measured 22 inches. She added, "Zero Meds. Zero Tears. 1000% over flowing w/ love & awe."
