Australian International School

Australian International School is the only school in the Philippines to be accredited by both the DepEd and, through a unique partnership with Haileybury School, Australia’s Victorian Curriculum and Assessment Authority (VCAA).

According to their site, “AIS Manila Preschool is a three-layered program consisting of pre-kinder 1 (for 3–4-year-olds), pre-kinder 2 (for 4–5-year-olds), and Kindergarten (for 5-year-old children). It is designed with a holistic approach to support children’s early cognitive, physical, social, digital, linguistic, and emotional development.”

On the other hand, the primary education program at AIS spans six years, equipping students with essential skills in core subjects such as reading, writing, Mathematics, Science, Social Sciences, financial literacy, and digital literacy. Established in July 2003, European International School was established to cater to dependents of foreign diplomats, as well as foreign temporary residents and local residents of the country. The German European School Manila and Lycée Français de Manille form the EUROCAMPUS, the first of its kind worldwide. The school’s vision is to “Nurture and educate children of various nationalities; developing them into responsible, productive, and self-reliant members of society with an appreciation of various foreign and local cultures.”

German European School Manila

German European School Manila is a non-profit, international and multilingual school which offers German and European education from kindergarten to grade 12. The English-speaking kindergarten and preschool for their Early Years Programme adheres to the International Baccalaureate Primary Years Programme (IB PYP). Classes take place Monday to Thursday from 7:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m.

Classes are divided into :

• Kindergarten: Children aged 3 to 5 years
• Preschool: Children aged 5 to 6 years

The primary school program is also based on IB PYP framework and is combined with the GESM Scope and Sequence (some parts derived from Cambridge Primary Curriculum) for the Core Learning areas. They are authorized to offer the Primary Years Programme since 2011 and was awarded the status of a UNESCO School in 2018.

French International School

French International School’s programs are for preschool, primary school, middle school and high school. They also have day care services from 2:00 pm to 5:25 pm, intended for primary school pupils.

For their preschool program, they have four zones of activity:

• Zone 1 is dedicated to motor activities and sports and is also used for afternoon naps.
• Zone 2 is about "the first tools for developing thought" and "exploring the world", mainly Math, puzzles and Science.
• Zone 3 is a cognitive room covering the "mobilizing language in all its dimensions," which includes fine motor skills, writing, and oral skills.
• Zone 4 is the last area, mainly dedicated to art and graphics. There is also an area for construction games, and depending on the period, there may also be areas for imitation games or "free creation".

Meanwhile, the fundamentals of elementary programs are as follows: French language, Mathematics, modern languages, physical education and sports, artistic education, question the world and moral and civic education.
