Any parent's heart would melt at the sight of their children forming a close bond as siblings, right? This is probably what Isabelle Daza felt when she witnessed a heartwarming moment between her two sons, Baltie and Valentin.

With the caption "Walked into this," the celebrity mom shared on Instagram, how Baltie, 3, soothed his crying baby brother Valentin, the sweetest way possible.

In the video, 9-months-old Valentin was seen crying in his crib. But before he reached the meltdown phase, his Kuya Baltie came to the rescue and knew exactly what to do: offer him words of affirmation. It worked like magic!

Holding a tiger stuffed toy, which recites affirmations when switched on, Baltie also vocalized the kind words.

He went on saying: "I am beautiful. I am unique. I am loved. I am perfect just the way I am. I am enough." Awweee, Baltie is such a sweet boy!

He also taught Valentin to reach for the tiger stuffed toy whenever he feels sad. "Valentin this is Tralala and this is how you do affirmations when you cry, you have to get him from that seat and he's gonna say the affirmations, okay?" Baltie tells Valentin with a smile.

Tralala the Tiger is actually special for both the siblings since it's the brainchild of their mom. Tralala is the main character from the children's story Isabelle wrote as her way of explaining COVID-19 to Baltie. (Read more about Tralala the Tiger here)

The video has received so much love from netizens, gaining over half a million views as of writing. Commenters peppered the post with heart emojis and praise towards Baltie for being the sweetest and responsible kuya to Valentin.

It's true what they say that there's no greater bond than the one you share with your siblings. It must fill Isabelle's heart to see her sons becoming best buddies.

How your sibling makes you a better person

Your relationship with your siblings actually influences your future relationship such as with friends, colleagues, and romantic partners. In a previous Smart Parenting article, we featured a study in Child Development, which showed that having a sibling aids in developing a strong sense of empathy. Exactly the case between Baltie and Valentin.

"We found that both younger and older siblings positively contributed to each other’s empathy over time," study co-author Marc Jambon, postdoctoral fellow at the University of Toronto, said in a statement.

The article also found out that having a sibling helps children's cognitive development, boosts mental health, and helps maintain a healthy weight. (Read full article here)
