Nine years married, three kids later, and multiple businesses together is no joke to juggle and achieve and for Chito and Neri Miranda who’s worked on all these, their love thrives. At a recent Magandang Buhay guesting, the Mirandas shared that they don’t follow a formula when it comes to their marriage.
"Honestly wala naman kaming sinusundan na formula. Pero it's just that I guess talagang in love lang ako sa asawa ko. ... Parang natural lang na gusto ko lang siyang alagaan at pakiligin parang ganun. Mas lalo na yata ngayon, mas may effort ako ngayon," said Chito.
Neri agreed, "Mas lalo siyang nanliligaw nung naging mag-asawa kami. Mas binibigyan niya ako ng more reasons na pagkatiwalaan ko siya."
The Mirandas have never shied away from their relationship’s past which included “kalandian noon ni Chito”, according to Neri's Instagram. Three years into their relationship, Neri and Chito broke up because he wasn’t ready to change his lifestyle while Neri no longer wanted that for herself. “Yung lifestyle mo, hindi para sa akin,” she told him.
An hour later, he returned to her and vowed that he would change. “Neri didn’t try to change me. Pero she said, ‘Kung ipagpapatuloy mo ‘yung ganiyan, I don’t want to be a part of it. Hindi niya ako binabago.”
“Hindi niya sinabi na magbago ka, huwag ka na mag… Talagang I decided,” Chito said. That was when he chose to be the person that Neri could see herself having a future with. “I wanted to be that person. Hindi niya sinabi na mag-bago ka. Ako lang I decided na kailangan ko magpaka-tino.”

Chito and Neri still make it a point to go out on dates together without their kids. "I enjoy going out with kids pero nire-request ko talaga [mag-date with Neri]. The reason why, not naman ayaw ko pero gusto ko last baby na si Cash because gusto ko na siya ma-solo, gusto ko na siya mai-tour," he said.
He explained that because Neri wishes to travel to many different countries with activities that kids might not find as exciting, he hopes to be able to fulfill her dreams. Neri said, "Ako kasi gusto ko pa sana (ng baby) pero sabi niya ayaw na niyang mag-baby na papunta na siya sa 50. Pero kasi parang gusto niya ma-solo ako makapag-travel."
Do these sweet words mean Chito and Neri no longer argue and it’s lovey-dovey always? Apparently not, because as Chito said in the same interview, “To be fair, I’m really annoying.”
The two still have their fair share of inisan and fights, “normal lang samin yung mag-argue,” Chito said. And when Neri feels annoyed at her husband? “The feeling is mutual,” he said.
But despite their arguments and annoyances, Chito and Neri said they know they will always choose each other. "Lagi kong sinasabi na alam ko na kahit anong inis natin alam kong hindi tayo maggi-give up sa isa't isa. So parang ganun lang," he said.
